Every last weekend of August is celebrated a festival dedicated entirely to the typical product of Borgo Pace: the Red Potato.
The Red Potato Festival is an authentic and high quality village event, where it is possible to watch potato conferences, exhibitions, entertainment shows, handcraft markets, but also guided tours, tastings, food and wine events with sommeliers and producers.
Of course there is the music, especially the smooth one, in full respect with the musical tradition of these places, and above all there is no lack of delicious food:
gnocchi with duck sauce, fried potatoes, roaster meat and of course the famous Crostolo di Sompiano, a calzone filled with boiled potatoes, local sausages and mozzarella, strictly cooked on the grill with local charcoal.
